The Table

The Table is a real description of the Church in the city. Imagine a movement in your city where a table becomes the setting to gather together, pray and learn the ways of the kingdom. The New Testament Church is simple. When we see worship, community and mission overlap, we see the church of Jesus. Simply put, a TABLE is a small community of believers who love Jesus as Lord and Savior and engage in His mission in their city.

At City Table we exist to inspire, engage, connect and empower missional people, churches and networks. We believe firmly that people make the church, not buildings. We help you create Tables in your city.

We affirm the Table as a form of Christ’s church – the most basic expression of the church. Our ecclesiology is simple. When believers work together in sincere worship and genuine community to accomplish part of the mission of God, they are the church.
